A Paraphrase look at Oxidative Stress brought to you by KYK SA.
Let?s start with some definitions; Rust or sometimes jokingly referred to ?red cancer? is an iron oxide, a usually reddish-brown oxide formed by the reaction of iron and oxygen in the catalytic presence of water or air moisture. Rust consists of hydrous iron(III) oxides (Fe2O3nH2O) and iron(III) oxide-hydroxide (FeO(OH), Fe(OH)3), and is typically associated with the corrosion of refined iron.
Given sufficient time, any iron mass, in the presence of water and oxygen, could eventually convert entirely to rust.
Oxidative stress (?Biological Rusting?) (sic), reflects an imbalance between the systemic manifestation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and a biological system's ability to readily detoxify the reactive intermediates or to repair the resulting damage. Disturbances in the normal redox state of cells can cause toxic effects through the production of peroxides and free radicals that damage all components of the cell, including proteins, lipids, and DNA. Oxidative stress from oxidative metabolism causes base damage, as well as strand breaks in DNA. Base damage is mostly indirect and caused by the ROS generated, e.g., O2? (superoxide radical), OH (hydroxyl radical) and H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide).[1] Further, some reactive oxidative species act as cellular messengers in redox signaling. Thus, oxidative stress can cause disruptions in the normal mechanisms of cellular signaling.
In humans, oxidative stress is thought to be involved in the development of ADHD,[2] cancer,[3] Parkinson's disease,[4] Lafora disease,[5] Alzheimer's disease,[6] atherosclerosis,[7] heart failure,[8] myocardial infarction,[9][10] fragile X syndrome,[11] sickle-cell disease,[12] lichen and Inflammation planus,[13] vitiligo,[14] autism,[15] infection, chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS),[16] and depression;[17] it also seems to be characteristic of individuals with Asperger syndrome.[18] However, ROS can be beneficial, as they are used by the immune system as a way to attack and kill pathogens.[19] Short-term oxidative stress may also be important in the prevention of aging by induction of a process named mitohormesis.[20]

We spend Billions of $ per year preventing Oxidative stress / Rusting in both metal structures and the human body. With metals or Ferrous alloys, we coat them, galvanize them or alloy them to stop the rusting process. As modern mankind we consume many different anti-oxidants to try and mitigate oxidative stress and premature organelle, cell or organ failure.
Currently, there are about 36,000 human diseases, and 90% of them are directly related to ?Harmful Active Oxygen?. If we prevented harmful active oxygen causing 90% disease in our human body, we can prevent around 32,400 diseases. Is there a way to stop the harmful oxygen? The most prestigious scientific journal in the world is ?Nature Medicine?. The issue date June 2007 they have published a paper called, ?The hydrogen effectively removes harmful active oxygen even in small amounts,? by Professor DR. SHIGEO OHTA, PHD. ?An apple a day keeps the doctor away?, Vitamins C, E coenzyme Q10, Resveratrol, just
to name a few of the pharmaceutically solutions to dealing with the modern-day onslaught of oxidative stress or rusting. As humans we are 99% water at conception and 60% or less at death, we should by all
wisdom consume 1.5 to 2 litres of water per day to have a healthy, hydrated system. We are already consuming water as a fundamental need for survival, the question is why do we not consume water that does so much more than just Hydrate us.

H? infused filtered water is
? 175 times stronger an antioxidant than Vit C
? 350 times stronger than Coenzyme Q10, etc.
